Hi,
I'm new with fusioninventory and I got this error message while running fusionivnetory-agent :
Using Compress::Zlib for compression
unexpected content, starting with <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
No answer from the server at perl/agent/FusionInventory/Agent.pm line 248.
I've been searching the web for a way to solve this but I'm lost.....
Currently I have:

Re: unexpected content
show your client config
do you use ssl or plain http?
I guess in config you put link to http://glpiserver.local instead of http://glpiserver.local/plugins/fusioninventory
Re: unexpected content
Hi pszafer plain....here's the agent config file content.

Re: unexpected content
Hi,
Last night I spent a few hours trying to figure out what was wrong.
The apache server has a rewrite rule who redirects all requests to https when there's no SSL active connection, I changed the server url in the agent.cfg and that's it. It's working fine, thanks God.
Thank you.
Updating assets
I have fusion agent running on multiple test machines and after installing the agent it imported all data into my GLPI. I am looking for a way to update all the assets from GLPI instead of running the agent on each individual machine. Is this a task I need to create in the plug in?
Re: Updating assets
Not for computer inventory, by default, when agent is in daemon mode, it send itself often (between 12 and 24 hours)
Re: Updating assets
Ok then I must be doing something wrong.
I have the agent installed on Windows 7 and on Ubuntu 14.04. After I ran it the first time it pushed the inventory to my assets page. Waited a couple days and it doesn't show that it was updated at all. I can see the service running in Windows and assume I would need to build a crontab for Ubuntu?
NAS inventory
Hi,
I'd like to inventory two small NAS a QNAP TS-859 Pro and a Synology DS-1511+. I can discover them via SNMP and then import them into the computer section but if I add them there I can not do SNMP inventory as only network and printers are allowed. How should I inventory them?
Thanks in advance,
Oriol
[FI 0.84+3.2][GLPI 0.84.8] Backup Switches
Is it possible to back up the configuration of the switches with fusioninventory?
Thank you!
Re: [FI 0.84+3.2][GLPI 0.84.8] Backup Switches
Not for the moment, I think it about some years but not found time to do this
Network Discovery and Inventory in GLPI 0.85+Fusion Inventory.
Hi guys, I'm sorry to ask, but I've tried my best to figure out how to get a Network Inventory and/or Discovery to start, but I cant find out how to do it.
Previously in 0.84, there's a button that we can force start a job, or to set execution time. We can't manually force a job to start immediately now?
I've followed the guide,
1) Configured SNMP Credentials
2) Default rule for import
3) Defined IP range 1-254
4) Defined agent, (Added them to the Exception list (Although it sounds incorrect? Because Exceptions, means that I should not put my Agents with Discover/Inventory there? Im confused)
5) Created a new task, added a Job, set a time slot.
But in my Agent with the discover/inventory module, its status is still 'Force an inventory, and the current status is waiting'
can someone help me out?
thanks!~
