Hi,
i am working in a litle it deparment and thought about trying glpi + fusioninventory to create a clean inventory system.
Everythings works quite well in my test setup. The whole system works on a small Atom based server....
But after my first automatic import with the agent i have a few questions.
Is there a easy way (rule, blacklist) to exclude objects from being added to the database?
i saw an entry in the bug tracker but it was several years old.
For example i dont want to import virtual printers, those are 2-4 devices on every pc that are not needed.
the same goes for dummy graphic devices...
Another issue i have is the software import.
fusioninventory seems to import everything out of the system, hundres of KBXXXXXX updates, every office update, msi strings and so on.
The test System had arround 600 of software entries, i would like to display/import barely 10% of this and exclude all security updates from windows/office and so on. any easy way to do this.
I hope someone can help me out.
PS: im running glpi 0.84.4 and fusioninventory 0.84+2.0, client is 2.3.5
